About
High End Publishing is the trading name of AP Publishing & Consulting LLC. We manage Amazon advertising for KDP publishers and FBA brands, and that is the whole of our business.
The firm grew out of running advertising for our own published catalog. Doing that properly meant learning how Amazon's advertising system actually behaves for books — where placements come from, how bids and price bands interact, and why the metric most people optimize against is the wrong one for a publisher whose income is royalties rather than retail margin.
Other publishers asked us to do the same for them. That work became the business, and private-label sellers followed once it became clear the method was not really about books — it is about refusing to optimize against a number that ignores your costs. Today we operate advertising accounts for independent publishers, professional self-published authors and FBA brands across Amazon marketplaces in the United States and Europe.
We have deliberately stayed narrow. We do not offer design, editorial, listing production, distribution, coaching or courses. We run advertising accounts, and we would rather be genuinely good at that than adequate at six things.
A publisher earns a royalty; an FBA seller earns what is left after cost of goods and Amazon's fees. Neither is the retail price, and ACOS knows about neither. We optimize against the money the client actually keeps.
Most underperforming accounts are not badly bid, they are badly organized. We rebuild the architecture first, because no amount of bid tuning fixes campaigns that are competing with each other.
Advertising data is noisy. We move bids in measured increments on a fixed cadence rather than reacting to a bad week, because overcorrection costs clients more than patience does.
We operate accounts, we never own them. Access is delegated and revocable, spend is billed to the client directly, and everything we build inside the account stays there when an engagement ends.
AP Publishing & Consulting LLC does not operate an e-commerce business, an online comparison-shopping service, a demand-side advertising platform, or an ad network.
