This policy explains how AP Publishing & Consulting LLC, trading as High End Publishing ("we", "us"), collects and handles information. It covers two separate things: information about visitors to this website, and information belonging to the clients whose advertising accounts we manage.

1. Who we are

AP Publishing & Consulting LLC is a limited liability company registered in the United States, with its registered office at 1309 Coffen Ave Ste 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. We are the data controller for information collected through this website, and a data processor acting on our clients' instructions in respect of the advertising data described in section 4.

2. Information we collect from website visitors

This website is a static informational site. It has no user accounts, no login, no shopping function and no advertising trackers.

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referring page and browser user agent. This is used for security and to keep the site running, and is retained for a short period by the provider before deletion.
• Correspondence. If you email us, we hold your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message, so that we can reply and keep a record of the exchange.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website, and we do not build visitor profiles.

3. Information we collect from prospective and current clients

When a publisher, author or seller enquires about our services or becomes a client, we hold the business information needed to assess, price and deliver the engagement: contact name and email, company name, catalog details, marketplaces, advertising budget, and the commercial terms agreed between us. Where a client supplies cost information so that we can report on margin — royalty rates for a book catalog, cost of goods and fulfilment costs for an FBA catalog — we hold those figures too, and we use them for no purpose other than that client's own reporting and optimization.

4. Advertising account data

Our service consists of operating advertising accounts that belong to our clients. In doing so we access and store performance data from those accounts — campaigns, ad groups, keywords, product targets, search terms, impressions, clicks, spend and attributed sales.

The following rules apply to that data without exception:

• Authorization. We access an advertising account only where its owner has signed a services agreement with us and has explicitly granted us access. We do not access any account outside that set.
• Isolation. Data is stored separately per client account. We do not pool, blend or benchmark one client's data into another client's reporting, and we do not derive cross-client statistics from it.
• No onward transfer. We do not sell, license, syndicate, publish or otherwise transfer client advertising data to any third party, in raw or aggregated form.
• Access control. Access is restricted to the members of our team assigned to that client. Credentials and API tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared outside the company.
• Encryption in transit. All connections to advertising systems are made over encrypted channels.
• Retention. We retain performance data only as long as it is needed to report to and optimize for the client concerned, and for any period required by law or by our agreements with advertising platforms.
• Deletion. When an engagement ends, our access to the account is revoked. The client may request deletion of the data we retain, which we carry out promptly.

Where we access advertising data through the Amazon Ads API, we handle it in accordance with the Amazon Ads API Licence Agreement and the Amazon Ads API acceptable use policies, in addition to this policy.

5. Legal bases

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: performance of a contract for the data needed to deliver our services to a client; legitimate interests for replying to enquiries, keeping our site secure and maintaining business records; and legal obligation where retention is required by law.

6. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing purposes. We disclose information only to:

• Service providers that we use to run the business — website hosting, email, and the infrastructure on which our internal application runs. They act on our instructions and may not use the information for their own purposes.
• Advertising platforms, where transmitting a client's instruction is the whole point of the service, and always within that client's own account.
• Professional advisers and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose or need to establish or defend a legal claim.

7. International transfers

We are established in the United States and serve clients in Europe and North America. Information may therefore be processed in the United States and in the European Union. Where personal data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our processing of it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Residents of California may additionally request disclosure of the categories of information collected and may opt out of sale or sharing — we do neither.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@highendpublishing.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If you are in the EEA or the UK and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

9. Security

We apply access controls, encryption in transit, encrypted storage of credentials and the principle of least privilege across our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of client business data seriously and review our practices as the business changes.

10. Children

Our services are sold to businesses. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting current clients will also be notified to them directly.
